The pic is GREAT, and I was really happy with how it came out (as noted in its description, it was a commission I requested). But every time I see it, I'm again reminded that Pinky Jo Curlytail was able to take an offhanded comment I made to her in conversation and turn it into... well, the kind of story that inspired this picture.
Glad to see it still getting praise (both the picture and the story) in 2015.

I liked how you combined Kim's and Ron's features on the daughter: Kim's red hair with Ron's freckles; Kim's expressive eyes with Ron's brown eye colour. The daughter's look of wonder as she imagines the story.
Now I have to go check out the story.

I'd been looking every so often for this picture to show up, and apparently I missed seeing it when I checked in the last day or two!
I've talked your ear off with the compliments for this picture as it was being sketched out and finalized, but I'll do it again... this picture is amazing! I also appreciate the concession you were making to me going in the KP style again when you've been evolving your style.
Don't be surprised if you ever hear another commission request from me in the future. You just do such amazing work with them.
Also, I'm really happy to see that a lot of people here learned about Pinky Jo Curlytail's story from this picture. I see compliments of her amazing story here, and I see she's gotten some new reviews on the story now... so that's great.
