Frog is well, "žába" in my language. "Žába" means a regular nice frog. 
While toad means "ropucha" in my language. "Ropucha" is a harsher word for a frog. You can also call someone "ropucha" because of their ugliness! But that's just rude!

Albert used to be a proud god of grace and beauty.
He killed anyone who called themselves pretty, just to be the most beautiful god in the realm of holy beings.
Well, and so he killed more and more people, the graceful and handsome frog king slowly became corrupted by the darkness and pride growing within him, gods are supposed to serve good, but Albert was very vain. So over time, he became more and more ugly.
He was blinded by his ignorance, but his people and subjects noticed his changing. 
They were sick of their king's horrors, so they decided to overthrow him into his own despair and death. 
By that time, Albert has already noticed him becoming a ugly toad demon and the fact that his own people want to kill him, so he was forced to flee and escape his own kingdom, never coming back. 

So now! Mister Albert Protz wanders through the world of demons in search of being a better person and helps random folks along the way!
