Yes, there are universes that parallel Gossamer's Earth, with many having their own equivalent to the Afroscience Metropolis and its Queen of Absolute Cold! On one such Earth is ULTIMAID...champion of her own ebony city, just like Gossamer. And just like Gossamer, she has a secret identity, Araminta Tubman.

Fortunately, Araminta was approached by a mysterious being who gave her magical sandals known as the ENHANCEMENT SANDALS, to transform into a mahogany-hued Amazon goddess known as ULTIMAID! Gaining beautiful purple hair, vast superhuman strength, speed, nigh-invulnerability, Thermal-vision, flight, and cryo-breath, Ultimaid protects her city and world from the forces of evil...and sometimes teams up with Gossamer when the threat is multiversal! However, a rare gas can affect her while in Ulitmaid form, similar to Kryptonite for Superman...and without her Sandals, Araminta is just a normal woman!
