Description Well, I haven't submitted anything in months @.@ haven't actually been on dA for months because of, life, really. And computer problems. But everything is fixed now so I'm gonna draw more again
And this has actually been sitting around for a while but I never got around to finishing it... until today...

No I use photoshop but manga studio looks like a good software to use

I guess this trick will still apply to Photoshop. Since you're manually creating a color gradient in your shading, you're looking to create a smooth and continuous surface. I'd say to look for the Smudge or Blur tool and rub it across the inside boundaries of the arms and clothing. It looks like you're trying to use a shading method I outlined in my tutorial (made for Manga Studio and Photoshop) [link] .

thanks for the advice but i actually dont particularly like using those tools and leaving it like i do is a part of my style. but thanks anyway

I guess you weren't going as much for a look of continuity in your shading as much as a distinction.
