They're contacts. I ordered them about a month ago and since they finally arrived, I was excited to do a photoshoot to show them off.

i like how you left some toning on your face instead of editing it all off......but then from your collarbones down...its like......wha?...what happened to the toning? theres no form to it.
the blood looks neat too. you submit good stuff,but i noticed some of it seems overedited to the point where your stuff sometimes seems like a painting,instead of a picture of a good cosplayer.

I'm not sure what you mean about the toning. I didn't just edit the top portion of the photograph and forget about the rest. I go through each section of the picture until it's completely done, then I add filters on top of it.
I used theatre blood to recreate the effect. It started to harden, crack and peel because of the hot Arizona weather though.
As I've said before on my profile and it's a very strong personal opinion -- I hate human flaws. Whether it be freckles, wrinkles, skin folds, mismatched skin tones, blemishes, hair, etc. I don't like how it looks in photographs, so I get rid of it.
Photography is just the chosen art form I love. Since it's art, I express myself and my creative vision in the way I see fit. I don't expect everyone to love it.
