Like I stated before, in Expressive art, the focus is on "process" rather than "product". Controlling the marker strokes can and can not be therapeutic, depending on the person who uses the mark.
For a person who is compulsive, restrictive or needs to learn how to "just let go"... not having marker control can be useful for that person. While on the other hand, a person who has inability to find or control physical or psychological boundaries...maybe learning how to control the marker would be helpful in that situation.
