Description Wie versprochen, hier nun die vorletzte Karte.

Beautiful!  In your opinion, what is the best paper to use with Copics?  I've been using cardstock because it's relatively cheap.  It works well for me but I've been wondering if there is a better paper out there.

Thank you for your comment and sorry for my late reply. I usually use special marker paper to spare the colours. However, I don't know which paper is sold in your area. Not all marker papers are the same and some are better than others. You should try some of them and decide for yourself which is the best.

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I have a pack of marker paper but it feels weird!  It's so thin and slick.  I feel like I would tear it up if I used it.  It's a little intimidating o.o

Do markers last longer if you use specialty paper?  I believe the cardstock I use absorbs the ink and uses up my markers pretty quickly but I don't really have anything to compare their durability against.

Hiya,

yeah, I know, marker paper is usually very thin so it doesn't absorb the colours too quickly, which is what happens if you use cardstock or other paper. However, the thin marker papers also vary in their quality. Sometimes when you do several layers with markers the paper cannot absorb any more colour and the surface starts looking like an oily film, which is annoying. So make sure when you ise marker paper that it doesn't do that.

Thank you for the advice!  I've been hesitant to use marker paper because it is so thin but constantly buying Copic markers is expensive.  I'll have to give the specialty paper a try :3
