This reminds me of Kingdom Hearts 2, at the beginning when you have to infiltrate the mansion, but this is what it would look like as a Real mansion and not just a goofy cartoon of one

Hey, 3d was a starting point but I changed the geometry so much I used the perspective guide lines mostly.But the 3d geometry reference was always somewhere on the layers - to figure out the size of the room and the scale of a character in this environment

Nice, I wonder - if Gears of War take place in space on some planet, why humans just back to they spaceships and fly away?

There's a lot of assumptions you're making:
- humans arrived on Sera in spaceships
- those spaceships are still intact and functional, and weren't scrapped for resources during the civil wars that took place prior to the Locust attacks, or during the Locust attacks themselves
- there are still pilots capable of flying those spaceships
- the fuel those spaceships require is available (which would preclude them running on Imulsion, since that was the bone of contention for the civil wars)
Any one of those being false would be a perfectly good reason for not having spaceflight as an option.

I do some research and it looks like in GoW universe there is no Earth, there is just Sera and nothing more. Sure humans, just like on Earth, know how to fire satellites into space, but that's all, no spaceship, no space-ports or other planets colonies. Humans live on Sera surface from begin. Just like we have our stone-age, ancient and medieval times they have them too.
It's also made one funny fact to shine - people often think that Marcus Phenix is some kind of space marine. To be space marine You have to fight on other planets, not one You live on. He is just normal-elite marine who fight on his planet

But they are not on Earth, on different planet, for a very long time. They have to get there somehow and during colonization get supplies and materials. Enough time to have some war between other corporations, but not enough to fly on different planets?
