Taken with my FujiFinepix S5000.Metro Toronto Zoo.
Can you believe this picture was taken through glass?
It's been reduced in size and resolution by 50% to conserve space and time.

i know, i know, i'm being a little pedantic with what i'm about to say.
but the Snow Leopard is not part of the Panthera genus.. it is Uncia Uncia, it has its own genus all to itself.
However, Uncia and Panthera are all part of the Pantherinae subfamily
but, we're not here to discuss classifications are we.
this pic is so gorgeous!!!!!!!! 
it has a very "you make Uncia unhappy." face hehe

I didn't know about the fact that it is in it's own genus. Just another example of how beautiful and rare these creatures are, there is nothing else quite like them on the planet!
I'll make sure to correct the mistake the next time I get the honor of photographing these marvelous animals. Thanks again for stopping by!

It's a nice balance of colors, textures, and the expression is priceless.

Beautiful animals! What a great shot. I got a shot of a half-grown snow leopard being bottle-fed... totally heart-melting, jealousy-inspiring moment of my life! At least I got right up close to it, never thought I'd get the chance to do that.

Yeah I was very pleased with how this came out. And I did have a more centered shot which I'll later upload to the scaps (too lazy) but I do think the clarity was a miracle. Thanks for the comment I'm very pleased you like it!
