Description
The area was a frigid waste. The Elf noted that this was wrong. VERY wrong. this place was a giant lake! why was there an aurora borealis in the sky?! why were the mountains covered in so much snow?! Zero yells at the Elf to be quiet as he falls to the ground, shivering horribly. He has no protection against the cold, and the armor had no insulation. He tries taking it off but it's stuck to him. He theorizes that he has 6 minutes to get to somewhere warm and FAST, otherwise he'll die.

(Gimmick)

Areas F-1, 5, 4, and 6 are too cold for Zero. when you enter these areas a timer will appear counting down. if you do not get Zero to someplace warm, he will fall to the ground, meaning you have to go back to the last checkpoint. An item in the stage will help Zero survive in the cold, keyword being help. you need an item for heat resistance in a later mission set in order to remove the environmental weaknesses. The flowing waterfalls you see are from the hot spring located somewhere in Area F and will reset the timer if you stay in them.

There are NPCS with the word 'HELP!' above them. rescue them all in a stage, and you'll be able to get items from them back at their base or home of origin.

The ZX enemy at the F-4 door is an indicator. When you see one of these totems inconspicously located in the stage guarding a door, that means a Pseudoroid is located in the area beyond that door.
