Well, I'll usually sketch out the drawing in ms paint so I get a rough idea of where the final ink will go. But for this picture I just sketched it straight onto the background and the used pen tool to ink on another layer.

This looks amazingly awesome! I love how you made Emily look bored and Noah look plain unimpressed or creeped out with Sierra's story telling, and the fact that both Sierra and Noah look like they were taken right out of a scene of the show(I can't say the same about Emily since she wasn't on the show, but I love how she looks, too!) Very very nice, makes me wish I could draw like that
