Wow, haven't posted for a while eh?My whole equipment was stolen in mai and I struggled to recover it (because money >-<). So for all those months I focused on traditional sketches and stuff that I almost never upload here o:
I used to hate doing linework. H A T E it and tried to avoid it on all costs. When I finished my first "real" lineart-project last year I kinda loved it.
I scribbled alot in my sketchbook with ballpens and my micron pens and realized I love doing linework. The progress itself is really soothing for me and I love all my finished pieces.
Well, if you followed my journey you might know that I wanted to progress more into semirealistic paintings. Right now, I'm not so sure about it as I feel I'm my lineart-skills progressed strongly but the painting-skills didn't.

I noticed to that my sketches changed the way I draw scribbles now slightly. They are less sketchy and more of a illustration now xD
Well, I'm in a legal dispute with the bus company about my equipment but it will take a long time until I see some money from them ;_;

The public transport stolen stuff insurance claim takes time everywhere, sadly.
But, as long as you get the money back from them, time dose not matter that much.

Hello there. It's been a while (a very long i think) since i saw you in DA and it's a great surprice how you are finding your way illustrating.
I always loved you lines (i found you by your lines in fact) and feels great to know that you find yourself in lines more than painting
Is cool to see that your lines have diferent sizes now, that is not easy to get hehe
Your proportions look more consistent now by the way, the last piece you uploaded here tended to be a bit disturbing in that sense.
Well, i'd like to see more like this

Thank you for your comment, I really appreciate it. Yeah, while I wasn't able to draw digitally I did a lot of traditional inking in my sketchbooks. This kinda developed my "style" of doing the linework I guess.
And I'm really suprised you found me for my lines lol! Didn't expect that ;D Right now, I feel really comfortable doing linework and I think I will be doing some more.
It's crazy how I can express my ideas with my lineart more than trying to color it- @

Hehe i'm glad for you but...
Don't give up on color, try find your color palette or maybe search for something that you would like to emulate. (For example lattely i'm been studying Francis Bacon color because of how he uses organic form to do abstracts pieces)
Have you been doing these lines on digital?
Maybe we could try doing some colabs or something

Uhm yes, I did them digitally. I prefer everything digital over traditional in terms of drawing with it. I just appreciate the possibilty to change stuff over and over again!

yeah i know...i have to present my final proyect of my degree in 3 months
But surely i'm goning to have time sometimes
So its better doing something that can be done in like...well...half a day or something like 4-8 hours

Oh wow! I think your lines look amazing in here! It seems like in the picture, there is a lot of movement, because the lines are so freely done and dynamic! I think this is really beautiful!
