I've always struggled with faces. So I thought I'd try out a trick I heard about, drawing upside-down. It sort of worked, in the sense that her face doesn't look cartoonish.

The sense in which this drawing didn't work, it that the reference photo I was using was sexy, and I meant for the drawing to be sexy, but she kind turned out looking like a cavewoman.

It takes some mighty bad drawing to make Kristanna Loken look like a cavewoman.
