Thunder child is the name of the warship, bit a strange name I know...this is kinda along the same vein as The Spirit of Man [link] , anyone who knows me will know my obsession with all things H.G.Wells. I didnt want the actual explosion to look too much like an explosion, more like a big flash of light in the night sky. Absolutely no reference used, getting into bad habits again...
