Alisa entered her home. She put her children to bed kissing them good night before heading to her own room. After work she had a nice conversation with Danny, she found herself becoming more and more comfortable around him. But today before heading back completely forgetting he isn't comfortable with hugs she spontaneously hugged him before heading home. Normally she is just fine with hugging people, it's something she's used to. She does it all the time. But this time the hug felt ... different. She got a weird feeling in her chest. For a split second, she could have hugged him forever, frozen in time for that moment.

She shook her head and stared at the ground. Her heart felt confused, she wasn't entirely sure what she was feeling. She had ideas but it all seemed very unrealistic.

"Oh come off it Alisa. Even if it was a crush it's not like he would trust you with his heart now. You broke him and you broke him hard. You're being silly and unrealistic what do you know about love? You said you loved a man that nearly killed him once and stole your child! Why should you trust your judgment on what love is?"

She let out a sigh, she felt tears stream down her face. She's such a mess. Single mom of triplets, one child hates her, and now she is having conflicted feelings about love. It was all very overwhelming. She wiped her tears and laid down staring at the ceiling.

"Just don't worry about it. Just keep it a simple happy friendship. You should be happy that he is willing to even be your friend."

With that being said she fell right to sleep.
