Description
Well, it took me a while to figure out what to do for March. Figured since the birthstone for the month is aquamarine, an underwater scene would be appropriate. I'm still not sure I love it, but I've worked hard on it so that's it!
I will happily accept C/C to help me with the rest of the year's pictures! A3, Meghan heavily modified

Wow, this one's pretty good; too bad the background spoils it a bit, but I haven't seen the rest so perhaps that's just what you were going for. 
As for the mermaid, I can't really see anything wrong with her.
The piece on the whole: 8/10; back ground, and shadows don't seem right when you look at where the light's coming from.
