Description STORY TIME!!! So the story is, that I wanted to try something incredibly new that would help me improve my artwork, because I really love art. So I though of doing a re draw of an amazing existing piece on Deviantart. I took my favorite (I saw this a long time ago, yet favored some hours ago ). She was beautiful so boom! I REALLY LOVE THE WAY THIS TURNED OUT! EVERYTHING IS JUST SO AMAZING!!! I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF, BEST DIGITAL WORK I'VE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE!   However, that makes it extremely sad, because this is 100% not original at all. But this is a great practice! I've gotta give all of the credit to for making this lovely piece. So now that I know that I have this wonderful burst of hidden talent, it makes me feel special, and that I can make original works like this one day, just not right now... But hey I'm still improving
Original: fav.me/dbk5hnc (I didn't add the owl sadly...)

Now that you got this, go over it in a new layer and study the shapes you used. It’s easy to say you’ve got it just by looking at it, but try drawing another girl and use similar features to this one here. (Human anatomy is universal so that’s not copying) eventually you can develop you’re own art and style just by studying! I’ve learned that if your anatomy is correct, a piece doesn’t have to have amazing color skills. Try drawing more people and pay attention to how far things are spaced here, and like how big the nose is in comparison to the eyes. These things all help me with humans you’ve got potential, keep it up

Aww, thank you! Digital art takes lots of practice, so don’t doubt yourself.

I have barely even touched digital art, and I did it once because it was too hard to make, which I found that a draw much better on paper. I had considered getting a computer with a touchscreen, so I might just make a small bit of digital art. I don't see many people just taking photos of their art on paper, which I sort of understand. it's kinda inconvenient, but I know that's it weird to draw on a computer screen :/

Digital art is way harder, you’re not the only one. A lot of people are extremely better at traditional than digital. It’s just that digital art is more of a trend than traditional and it grabs attention.

Personally, I just find it easier to not do digital art, it's too complicated for me. for traditional art, all you need is paper, pencils, and an idea.

Yeah, that is true. A pencil has more of a grip to a piece of paper than a touchscreen pen does to a tablet.

While its not original, it does look good. A lot of people including me use references anyways so don't feel sad.
