On the ferry to Dover there were a few seafulls hunting behind the boat. I actually had to wait for 35 mins before one came close enough to be more then a white dot on the photo, but when it happened it made up for the waiting (and I almost missed the moment because I was talking to my girlfriend).European Herring Gull - Larus argentatus, subspecies argenteus
