The cauldron just has the potion that they are dipping the carrots into. (Hopefully no rabbit stew in the future). What I don't know is whether I'm going to end up just partially transformed, or bunnified all the way?

Full and total bunnification!? That seems rather scary! But even worse, I'd hate to end up as rabbit stew! However, I think these ladies have more fun knowing that the many animals that they turn people into have the spend the rest of their lives as simple little pets or out in the wild struggling to stay alive and not get eaten. Based on how things are going for me so far here, ending up as one of these ladies' pet bunny would be the best possible outcome...
