lol i wish i had got that new classics redesign of Inferno, they discounted him in the shop to £10 so i'm hoping he'll still be there
i like the Revenge of the Fallen Depthcharge but £8 for a TINY figure is waaaayyyy to crazy.
well i was trying to draw Sideswip last night and his head took soooo long i gave up once i finished it lol

Yeah, I missed out on Inferno as well. I'm assuming they'll redeco him eventually as either Hot Spot/Zone or Grapple, or at the very least, maybe another reissue of Inferno, but possibly in the G2 Colors. I did get the Leo Prime toy, which made me wanna draw this one.
And I do gotta agree with you about the Movie Scouts. I mean, they look neat and all, but money's tight... And I just can't bring myself to spend $8 here for a Scout either.

The funny thing about 90% of the movie toys is that I already have most of the toys from the first time around. I got the Blue Offroad Ironhide toy they released (and as that was a final gift from my mom, I'll always hold it near and dear) but I just can't bring myself to buy the same damn toy again, even if it does have a spiffier gun.
I understand the TFA love. It's like me and my internship on Beast Machines. It was my first "pro-work" so I hold a warm place in my heart for it always, even though I'll be the first to admit it had it's flaws.
Having said that, I understand that there's still talks to continue the story of TF:A through comic form. Perhaps you can get in on that action?

Funny enough, I was just thinking about Lio yesterday. I want his figure badly.

I always had a fondness for him. I got his figure years ago, when we all still had no clue what the BWII storyline was and we all thought he was Optimus Prime himself. (Back in 1998 or something. Beast Wars hadn't even hit Transmetal 2s yet.) I'll be bluntly honest, especially in comparison to other Convoy/Prime toys... His toy kinda blows. It looks neat, but beyond visuals, his chest piece doesn't lock down that well, his gimmicks and kibble (what there is of it) get in the way too often and his joints are too stiff in all the wrong places that results in the afore mentioned chest piece popping off too often.
Still though, I do like his character, and I'm tempted to open up commissions to buy his Robot Masters toy.

Yep. Leo Prime/Lioconvoy was the leader of the Maximal group in Japan's Beast Wars II series. Where as Optimus Primal was just the captain of the Axalon in our Beast Wars series. There was another one named Big Convoy (No english coined name) which was the commander in the BWII follow up series Beast Wars Neo. And they all worked in the same continuity.

Certainly better looking than an ape. I guess the producers of "Beast Wars" wanted to break that lion/leader paradigm.
