APPEARANCE

Esther is a large cat. They are a muscular calico with orange and dark blue tabby spots. Esther's face is round with a large nose and squinted eyed. Both of their ears are gone as they were taken from them in a battle with another exile The top of the fur on their head was cut to be as straight as it is by some of their old friends. Their eyes are a bright amber. Their neck is thickly furred with and their limbs are long and stocky with large furred paws holding her afloat. Their tail is half the length as a normal cat tail because of the Japanese Bobtail heritage Esther has.

Esther is a cat that enjoys physical contact on the strictly nonsexual spectrum. They will demand cuddling a lot if they ever like you so they're only going to love a cat who would cuddle them. They're incredibly interested in feminine cats and happens to love striking colored cats who are bright and cheery with a bit of a devious side. They could never love a goody two-shoes and doesn't appreciate a snitch. She would break up with a cat immediately if they told them that they were a bad cat for stealing things from people when 'they could clearly appreciate it better'. Physically wise they're attracted to cats smaller than them with blue eyes and long fluffy tails.

Esther doesn't stay still even if she wanted to. They have to be moving all the time feeling the need to run around and enjoy the day. They love to talk and will not shut up even if you tell them to they would just laugh at you. It's not like them to be quiet they're a kind-hearted cat which is why they is a pacifist. They love their life and loves that they were given their life. They try to be positive despite their inward worries and the old sadness they carry with them from losing all their friends in exile. If you initiate conversation with them the whole time you'll probably just be nodding as they start going on about a made up story or rambles about how they once took down three fox with only their bare paws and a stick. This trait makes them a good cat to be around, but can hide some of their more undesirable traits. It's hard to think that a pacifist would ever steal things from you, but they would.

+ [ Eccentric ]: unconventional and slightly strange.
Esther is a very strange cat. They have some strange habits and strange thoughts. Sometimes they can be a bit dense and forgets that other cats have personal space issues and will go up to someone they don't know and start conversation with a friendly headbutt or cuddle. Their flirting can also be a bit eccentric saying like 'you know your left paw is a lot more beautiful than your right one I'm gonna get u a bracelet so BOTH of your paws will be beautiful!'. They also have some strange ideas and things they will not let go like having to sleep next to a tribemate. When they first entered the tribe they tried to sneak close to another one of the miners and would sleep as close to them as they could without waking them up. Other things that can be considered strange that they do is that she will yell and raise their voice at random times in a conversation demanding things. There's also the fact that they will literally steal your accessories right off you even if they like you. They're a quick cat that can be hard to catch unless you're an Air-tribe cat. They hoard their accessories outside of Earth Tribe camp, and will visit them every day to make sure none of them were stolen. They are fascinated by the shine of metal and the feel of bone, so those are two of the main things that they will steal.

+ [ Charismatic ]: friendly, and likable.
In their own way Esther can be strangely likable. They have a charm about them that makes them fun to hang out with, plus their great story telling skills about their adventures outside of the tribe when they traveled with all of their friends. Esther loves friends, but is still a little scared to make them. Having any other people ripped away from them makes them fearful, but they challenge their own fear and has done everything they can so far to try and be the best friend they can be to almost all of their tribemates. They talk to everyone with small hellos and little headbutts. They bring and makes people gifts even if they don't much care for it, and will shower other cats in compliments about their nice ears or their stride. They're a lot more complimentary to females than males.

- [ Persuasive ]: good at persuading someone to do or believe something through reasoning or the use of temptation.
Esther has some serious skills of persuasion. I'm sure some even think they're a secondary shadow with the way they've been able to get people to do what they want. It's usually nothing big, but sometimes they can manage to get someone to go on a walk with them or maybe help them with something. They're always dreamed of being able to trick someone right out of giving their accessory to them, but they're not yet to that point. One day-- they hope-- they will be able to be a persuasion master and will be able to steal things right under people's noses. Oh boy, there's really nothing better to this cat. Along with their persuasive tactics they're also a great liar it's very hard to tell when this cat is lying because they're always so excited and hyper. Their heartbeat is always fast and they always just talk and talk and talk themself right out of any sort of trouble.

- [ Devious ]: showing a skillful use of underhanded tactics to achieve goals.
Untruthful is this cat's middle name. They will compulsively lie to get what they want and earn trust for people to do things their way. Though they have no intention of physically hurting anyone or taking over the tribe their manipulative ways are very emotionally hurtful. They are unaware and unwilling to notice that fact. Esther sees no problem in their behavior thinking they're only doing it because they weren't aware enough to notice. They operate under the table and has a natural attraction to any other cat who can sense what they are or behaves the same way. They also have a need to be able to trick people they enjoy watching someone fall for a small trick and finds humor in it such as them tripping a cat and falling into the mud. This cat is trouble, and they know it. Their need to hoard accessories is fueled by their need to get some sort of shock out of people thanks to their devious nature. Watching a cat fumble around and do everything they can only to not be able to find their precious necklace given to them by their great grandcat warms this sly asshole's heart.

- [ Cocky ]: conceited or arrogant, especially in a bold or impudent way.
Their confidence knows just as many bounds as Esther which is none. Esther knows they're funny. They know they're tricky, charismatic, and a outwardly appearing good person and they rock it well. They refuse to speak about themself in a negative way claiming that they are good everyone's good because everyone has the capability of it in them. Because of their cocky nature authority from anyone besides their leader means absolutely nothing to the cat. They're pig headed and will not move from something they say they're doing even if they know it's bad. No one will tell them how to live their life because 'I've gotten pretty far in it now.' In any sort of word play their cocky nature comes out and they get ahead of themself in arguments usually landing them right in the dog house at the end of the night.

[ Extras ]:
- They are a thief and will literally steal someone's accessory right off of them if it is not secured correctly. She keeps her hoard of accessories hidden in Nightwatch forest. They will still steal your accessory even if you're nice to them because once they see something they think that it should belong to them. ( In roleplays she will not steal anything off your character unless I have your permission first )
- Esther is a pacifist. They will refuse to hurt anyone and does not wish pain on anyone. Even though they're a thief and a cheat they do not condone any other types of bad behavior.
- They can be very flirty to feminine appearing cats promising to make them accessories or giving them stuff even if they don't want it.
- Esther is based a lot off of some of my favorite comedic relief characters especially Varrick from Avatar: Legend of Korra

[ History ]:
Esther, or Meela in this case, came from very humble beginnings. They were born to two exiles who were deeply in love. Yoko was their mother and their father's name was Rhino. The two of them had known each other for years, and had a deep spiritual connection that no one could break. They had three kittens. Three kits name Caryn, Meela, and Eloy. The three of the kittens were all small, but their mother cared for them carefully and made sure each one grew up as strong as she could possibly make them. Meela was the largest out the litter and the strongest, and as they grew they made it known that she would be alpha kit. They bossed their siblings around their whole life, though they never really minded all that much. She was a good big sibling always made sure everyone was safe, but their parents noticed a strange obsession in Meela. They loved to collect rocks and anything shiny. They and Their brother and sister would spend days just finding the nicest rock to add to their collections, and each of them enjoyed it greatly even as they grew into young adults.

Once each of them hit their adolescent years their parents told each of them that they needed to forge their own path in the world and break off from the family. Meela was a little hurt at first and didn't want to leave their siblings they had grown so fond of them. Their father came to each of them and told them, "Even if you're lost you'll never be alone. I'll always remember each of you, and if you get lost just remember me and you're mother. You'll all find your path." And with that said Meela got the courage to leave and their siblings and them all split up in different directions. Meela's first few months were spent alone, and they did their best to keep their parents and siblings in their thoughts but loneliness plagued their heart. One night when they took a walk they found another small group of exiles. They noticed that the calico was young and hungry. Meela joined the exile group and stayed with them for a few months. Though the age difference between all of them was so vast they always treated Meela as an equal. One thing Meela could never keep their mind off of was the necklace one of the older exiles would always wear. It was so shiny and wonderful Meela wanted it so bad, so one night while all the other exiles were sleeping they slipped it off the older exile and hid it in the bushes. The she-cat was devastated when her necklace had been stolen as the necklace had been a gift from her deceased father. No one found out that Meela had done it.

A month after the incident a new older tom cat joined the group. He was an elder and was very wise. His fur was graying, and Meela immediately didn't like him. He knew something was up with the sly looking calico. He could tell they were not to be trusted, and started watching the small cat. This made Meela angry. They didn't need someone watching them or looking after them plus what did he think he was going to find anyway? They only had one thing to hide that they foolishly took everywhere with them. The necklace was their only accessory at the time, and they made sure that it was always hidden away. One day the elder saw them trying to relocate the necklace and secretly told the exile group about it. The she-cat who owned the necklace was furious and once Meela returned she attacked the much smaller cat. Before the other cats could do anything Meela had already lost both their ears. They healed the small cat, but they were never treated the same again and the necklace was returned to its rightful owner.

Meela surprisingly stayed with the group, but their only motive was to get back the necklace which they thought was rightfully theirs. They had to be precise about their tactics to be able to steal the necklace, so they stayed a few more months enduring the other cats trying to teach them how to fight and how to be a better person. They formerly treated them as an equal so this treatment made Esther furious. They broke one night and decided it was time for them to take back what they thought was rightfully theirs. They carefully removed the necklace and some other accessories from the cat's possession and fled into the night. Meela stopped after a night of working and broke down the necklace into parts. They took the main focus of the necklace a small jet stone ring and slipped it onto their nub of a tail. They secured it with some sap they got out from a tree and started south. It turned out that the stories of the Tribes were true and there they went to Earth Tribe and learned their name was Esther. They embraced their new lifestyle, but didn't abandon their old type of life style. They turned into a compulsive liar and a thief after their experience with the exiles. If asked about their past Esther will go on about some fake story about how their exile friends were murdered but they escaped and sought out the tribes to find peace and enlightenment.
