So I found out these "leaked" Pokémon, which are supposed to be the final evolutions of the Alola Starters.Another person had said before they were:

I don't know if they're real or not, but I really liked them. They seem pretty real to me.

Hate to break it to ya... not, but there are some elements proves that these are real.
"New Pokémon based on a dolphin, sea cucumber, snowman, mushroom and a rugby monkey are there."
There was a mushroom and sea cucumber pokemon that were confirmed to be real. Also there is Mallow who appeared in the August 1st trailer.

Everyone is hating on these evolutions credibility because Litten may not come out as how they all expected. Plus, it may also be a Fire/Fighting type; which according to everyone, is a sin now. I'm not a big fan of Panthster either, but it doesn't make it any less of a good Pokemon. It also doesn't effect the other starters in any way. It's always that way with fans, they see one design they don't like and suddenly awesome designs have zero value. It's like the first odd design is cutting the red wire and blowing up the bomb, casting aside the awesome new aspects

I kind of fall into that category but at the same time don't.
I mean, I hate these designs, but at the same time love them. They do have some red flags in it but at least (If these are real) Game Freak tried to make designs that look great. Personally, I'd go with either Litten or Popplio's final evolution.

I've really liked all the new Pokémon so far, I just think they're too many animals, like, they don't have just a few animal-like features, they all look like true animals, except just for a few, this generation looks like a zoo, when I think the Pokémon should be more like fictional creatures, but I like them anyway.
The starters are always the biggest concern, but that's why you get to choose between 3 of them, and you can always bring back your favorite Pokémon from older games so... If these are real, yeah, the fire one would be my least favorite, but I think it's still better than Emboar.

Having seen those for a while now, for me they - sadly - look quite convincing.
I've got nothing against the supposed evolutions for Rowlet and Poplio.
But that wrsetling-tiger? No. Just, no. I really love littens design. But why make the final form of the fire starter bipedal - again? And even if it's not a fighting type, why make it look like a fighter - again? And on top, I totally hate the design... Really, even if it's a wrestler, in my opinion they could have made a way better design for that concept. It looks way too cartoony with those weird pranks...

I have some ideas they could use to change Litten's supposed final evolution. Just make the claws less cartoony, give it a body design that could change to a sort of biped-quodroped style and remove anything fighting type-ish and it could work.
But we just have to wait until the real final evolutions are released.

Yeah, I'm expecting something like an actual panther or so, but considering there are too few quadrupedal, fully evolved starters, I wouldn't be surprised if they make it bipedal, even if these are fake.

Even if I'm not a fan of a bipedal litten evo, I could live with it if it just was another design than this thing...
Maybe make it look more like a rogue or thief, that would fit the dark type well. It's really irking me that it looks like a fighter again.

I doubt that they are fake, there are too many evidences to proove they're real to say that they are. If they are fake, then they woudn't match this graph with Fire Types based on the Chinese Zodiac, Grass Types on Prehistoric animals, and Water Types on Weapons, like the other past starters.
As you can see, Panthster is obviously based on the Chinese Zodiac, not to mention inspired by one of Ken Sugimori's favorite anime series, Tiger Mask. Robingroot, though based on Haast's Eagle, the giant prehistoric eagle of New Zealand, may have it's name misread as Robinroot, as in ''Robin Hood + Root'', and lastly, Entermaid, if you look at it's hip and tail, is based on a spiked club.

I think these are fake, Entermaid looks too feminine and all the starters have always had a 'gender-neutral' look in all of the past generations.
I highly doubt Litten's evo will be Fire/Fighting, nothing in Litten's design or description makes you think of a fighting evolution (actually, the description may lead more to Fire/Poison, also considering the alchemic symbol, and its design may lead to think of Fire/Dark too). Also, come on, most of those Fake evolutions make Litten a fighting type just to troll everyone with the 'too many fire/fighting starters' meme.
Robingroot seems quite plausible, but I hope it'll be a bit bigger and more 'flying bird' looking.
Also, Rowlet's descriptions points at the fact that it has leaves under its wings, I think this will be developed in its evolution rather than dropped.

Well, the "Litten evolution" is supposedly Fire/Dark, even though it looks muscular. That would be too masculine for a female as well. Machoke, Machamp, Mr. Mime, Hariyama, etc say hi.
I do agree Entermaid would look too feminine, but then we have Gardevoir. So I don't know, they must be fake since they "leaked" almost a month ago and nothing has happened, but I really liked their designs whether they're real or not.

The person who leaked the names and the one who leaked the pictures are not the same, so if the names leak is fake (though it may be not), then Litten's evo could be Fire/Fighting. Well, that's what I heard, might be wrong. Though with such a design I find it hard to believe it wouldn't be Fire/Fighting unless Game Freak realized too late that it'd be the umpteenth fire/fighting and made it dark type despite the design ...
Yes, I know some Pokemon are strongly gendered in appearance, but I'm saying that it never happened with Starters in particular and I'd find it very weird if it happened now.

As much as I'm skeptical about these evolutions, Delphox looks very feminine, and it still has the same gender ratio, and Samurott looks very masculine thanks to its mustache and beard.

I don't think they look as 'gendered' as this Popplio evolution.
I have never thought that Samurott looks masculine, to be honest. I have never really seen its extra fur as mustaches or beard ... Many animals have whiskers or such things.
As regards Delphox, I also don't see it as very feminine? xD Delphox is inspired to a magician and its fur seems to me more like a monk/magician robe rather than a feminine dress. Also, Delphox has whiskers as well.
This Popplio evolution, instead, seems to be based on a mermaid, which is a female-only creature. This would make it way more 'gendered' looking than Samurott or Delphox, as a concept.

I suppose it comes from entertainment. The person who claimed that info, said it was supposed to be some kind of mermaid that lures its crowd with its singing voice or something, so I suppose it would be inspired in some kind of show, like from the circus or something mixed with the concept of a mermaid.
As I keep saying in other comments, they still can be fake, and as far as I understand, the pictures and the names come from different sources. Which makes it kinda more reliable, but at the same time the person that said the names probably just took the images as a reference to come up with the fake names.
I'm really not well informed about the rumors, but I understand the images and part of the info comes from China. And the person that dropped the names was supposedly working for the France localization team, but got fired. This last person also said there's gonna be some kind of beaver that's gonna fight like copying the style of other Pokémon (kinda like Smeargle I guess) and a gorilla Pokémon that's gonna be Ground/Fighting. But who knows.

I just noticed the latest Pokémon, the bear/panda and the ghost disguised as Pikachu, kinda match the descriptions of a gorilla/big creature and a rodent that imitates in some way other Pokémon, except for the typing.
Maybe I'm reaching too much, but the first thing that I thought when I saw them was that "bit of information" from tumblr or I don't know where I read it lol
