There are some Pokémon that do have official artwork, but I decided not to include them:
- Pikachu Rock Star, Pikachu Belle, Pikachu Pop Star, Pikachu, Ph. D, Pikachu Libre: since they appear only in OR/As, but they're included here .
- I wouldn't have included Cosplay Pikachu or Spiky-eared Pichu if they had artwork though.
- Pumkaboo Small Size, Pumkaboo Large Size, Pumpkaboo Super Size; Gourgeist Small Size, Gourgeist Large Size, Gourgeist Super Size: assuming the official artwork is the Average Size, they actually don't confirm it either. Official sources only change the size of the same artwork, the official website uses the exact same.
- Solgaleo Radiant Sun Phase and Lunala Full Moon Phase do have a Ken Sugimori artwork, but to me it's more of a conceptual art rather than the artwork of an actual form, like the others.
Unsure status:
- PokéDex Rotom: it had been included in older versions of this collage, but I decided to remove it once the leaks occurred, since it doesn't have a battle sprite as we all imagined it. It was included in the Gen VII collage.
- Ash Greninja: it'll surely be treated as the Mega Evolutions or Primal Reversions, so I do see it being present in future games, but time will tell. If it ends up being just a Sun/Moon exclusive, it'll be removed and it'll stay only in the Gen VII collage.
- Zygarde Cell and Zygarde Core: they don't have battle sprites either. If they disappear in future games/generations, they'll be removed from the big picture as well.
- Pikachu Original Cap, Hoenn Cap, Sinnoh Cap, Unova Cap, Kalos Cap, Alola Cap, I Choose You Cap: they are included only in the Gen VII collage.
- Mega Evolutions as they won't appear in every game starting with Gen VIII

Yes I put in the description that I would re-arrange them once all of the Gen VIII Pokémon are revealed (including ordering the new Pokémon with their respective number).
Moving all of the Pokémon every time there's a new Galarian form revealed will be a nightmare. I tried to do that with the Alolan forms back in the day, until I decided it was the best to just wait till all of the Pokémon and forms were confirmed so I do the hard work only once.

uhm well, I just gathered the official artwork images, and pasted them onto this photoshop project.
It's a long process of resizing them, aligning them, especially when there's new forms that come to rearrange everything else. Each row of names is a layer of text. The background is just a pattern I made to fill the entire canvas, except for the top which has an extra space

I'll try to keep it updated but usually I can't do that until I come home from work, so most of the times the announcements are in the morning, but I'm not able to do anything until that night.
Also, I ran out of space (that's why I didn't put the names just yet), so I have to add extra rows. Aaaand, it's really discouraging the fact that I'm gonna have to put them in the order they're being revealed only to have them re-arranged once the full Pokédex is confirmed, but we'll see how this unfolds throughout the year.
And, each time I have more trouble uploading the picture (more recently with Meltan and Melmetal), even when I want to display the full size, Deviantart keeps forcing it to lower the resolution. I guess I'm exceeding the max limit.

I just did it! lol I bought a new computer so I'd been very busy with work, but I finally managed to transfer all my files and programs and I had a day off so I finally uploaded the updated version with the new Pokémon. I've seen people claim they're gonna be #808 and #809 but I left them as #??? till we get an official confirmation. I've also seen the Let's Go leaks and they're apparently #152 and #153 from the new Kanto regional Pokédex, so we'll have to wait a little bit more.
