How I wish they are actually separate characters. If Akira Toriyama were to decide to separate them into three different characters, I would have named them:
Imperfect Cell = Bacterell (Comes from the word of Bacteria)
Semi Perfect Cell = Germell (Comes from the word of Germ)
Super Perfect Cell = Cell (Nothing change)

This look really makes Cell seem alien. I especially like the more human-looking 2nd form, which makes sense given most of the people in his makeup have human faces, but the small nose really helps sell it as inhuman compared to the final form. Also, no fishface!

I'm gonna be honest, these are below your usual quality, I mean they fit the style of the redesign but they don't really feel like they suit Cell the way the other redesigns suited the other characters
