Here is Superman of Earth 2 in the new 52. In my own personal opinion, DC should have done a costume change for Supes since 2003 and this was the costume they should have gone with. Original art by Jerome K. Moore and praise goes to artists. Phil Bourassa (Lead Character Designerfor YJ), whose style JKM was emulating, and

Looks cool, very cool. And I agree with your idea that this is the costume they should have give him in the New 52. The only issue I have is with the belt. It doesn't look bad or anything and the color scheme of both red and yellow is a nice touch but the shape of the belt I think should be closer to his mainstream New 52 one, a bit thinner with a diamond shaped belt buckle.

That's actually not bad. One of the better redesign variations I've seen. Nicely done.
