Description

Six years ago it was state-of-the-art, latest generation, dream-come-true equipment. However, six years is an embarrassingly long time. Despite the pristine condition, it is archaic and obsolete. With no resaleable value - gifting or donating would undoubtedly offend – the only course of action is to steal out into the dead of night and leave it, plus all the equally archaic and obsolete accessories, neatly, nay temptingly, with the garbage in the hope that it might catch some passing dumpster diver’s eye to live just that little bit longer.

And with a clear conscience, back home to explore all the wonders of my brand new state-of-the-art, latest generation, dream-come-true equipment.

Red-Left, Green-Right ... Which means she's looking backwards at us before she goes away

Sweeet!   Is it as powerful as the Omni-Cogni-Neutron-Wrangerl?!   (I think that's right - I"m doing it from aural memory from many years ago... )

as to the art..  Yup - that green shoe does not go - Mom explained to me years ago that blue and green do not go together (then again - I do own a green shirt or two... and all of my pants are blue....  ).

But the rest of it - lovely - the blues are so deep, the variations are lovely, and they work so well together - even the pumpkin flavored popsicles got in on the act.

And the shoes she did go with..    Love those reflections!

Please phraught!!!! You can tell just by her expression... "Deep Thought"

Blue and green??? I was always told "Red and green should never be seen (except upon an Irish queen)!" - I like the Blue/Green combination, I use it as camoflague between the fruit and frozen sections in the supermarket.

As I explained to radaVid, the red/green high-heels are symbolic for "going away"

Deep Thought indeed!  (Is everyone else wondering what the hell we're going on about?? - I don't care!)

Red and green - yeah, I can see that: unless you're auditioning to be a Christmas elf...

Once you remove it from the packaging, it loses a lot of the collectable value.  It's all downhill from there.

Reminds me of my scanner.  It works perfectly fine, but it won't work with Windows 8, so I either need to downgrade my operating system, or buy a new scanner.

The background poster is pretty cool.

I loves me the consumer society ... Spendy spend spend spend!!! Plus it's already out of date before they start selling it

Can't believe the poster is already one year old, it only seems like a few weeks since I did it (as you said "downhill from here" and not just machines)

So... stepping up from the ZX81 to the flashy Sinclair Spectrum?  Bold move to be sure but one I know we're all going to enjoy via the pleasures you will share with us

Sadly I have misled you... No upgrade for the foreseeable future, at least not until used teabags become legal tender . Nonetheless, I have been there...The hardest was with a 16 bit flatbed colour scanner I bought in 1993 for about $3000 ($25 billion in today's money), hardly ever used and eventually left out with the garbage with its cables and SCSI card in 2006    (someone did take it, probably to use it as a football)

yah… did that with a printer, but I can see two scanners collecting dust (that people were cunning enough to give to me when they got new ones (little did I know)) that need to be repurposed as paving stones.  Thankfully I didn't pay for them, but my other hardware I did and I still haven't been able to bring myself to get rid of them.

Mmmm still littering?
That being said: perfect crossed-legs pose, not easy to get

Another saying for you Y-Phil:

What the eye doesn't see, the heart doesn't grieve over

It's a crossed leg camera angle rather than a crossed leg pose

I suppose that the french version of this is: "far from the eyes, far from the heart" = straight translation from "Loin des yeux, loin du coeur"
I love crossed leg poses: classy, sexy and so appealing...

Mmmmmmm "Loin des yeux, loin du coeur" >>> "Out of sight, out of mind"  ...There is distance involved in the French and the English versions,  but "What the eye doesn't see..." is used for things that we can see and touch. There is a subtle difference.

Ok, is that something like "If I don't see it, it can't hurt me"?

A 1000 pixel render usually (as in "always") means I was impatient to see the result and/or do something else... (Plus I used second skin corset/stocks for added speed)

wonderful render.  very apropos.
all the details blend into the whole
very effortlessly. talk about upper crust garbage.

congrats on your bounty.
now let's put that stuff to work on Consumas.
red for collective debt; green for $$$$$$$.
nice balls well hung, tinsel dresses draping massive trees
and a plastic angel rides the top fir, fun.

Perspicacity abounds!!!! I'm highly impressed that you noticed the red shoe, green shoe!
The colour of the shoes means that she is going away (as with aeroplanes and ships)
