Today's game was "caustics" (I always thought that was something you used to clean drains...But then again I'm an idiot).If you stare hard enough I'm sure you'll find something buried in all this mess

Would you believe I limited the reflections to just 3! This morning I re-rendered it with 25 reflection bounces and there was hardly any difference so 3 is what I'll use...As I just told NICELabs it only took 26 minutes to render (not bad for a ZX Spectrum).

Smoke and mirrors, as we well know! I just had to press that caustics button, I've always been too afraid because it eats RAM and then asks for seconds but surprisingly the render only took 26 minutes.... It's actually what's illuminating her face.

this is truly an engaging work. i too thought caustic was an acid substance, or attitude. my mind has been stumbling over why the tarot cards and the textured paper on the desk when reflected are on opposite sides to the physical location they are in. also where did the breast come from?? this is totally awesome and when the the prize is unearthed i will feel most idiotic i am sure.
i fear my stare only begets a headache.

'Tis the magical wonder of refraction..... The hand mirror on the table is being reflected in the ball whereas the tarot cards are being refracted (I was just as confused until Dog explained it to me).
As for the bare breasts radaVid, there are 3 possible answers:
1. Divination should always be performed naked as clothing can interfere with the frequencies.
2. Deviants tend to like nipples in the pictures
3. I just couldn't be bothered to dress her because I was concentrating on the caustics
Obviously the answer is Nº1
