Inspired by a conversation with my brother about problems with being a captain of the pirate ship in "Sea Dogs" and how I love British Royal Navy's uniforms.Here's a funny thing - it was drawn only to show the uniform (and make me regret one more time that I didn't choose any costume design school)
If I was in navy my ship had to have a HMS (Her Majesty's Ship) prefix, but since I have my own, very slowly growing dragon([link] - her name should be Niestka) I would be in special dragon forces (at least at the beginning, because I detest being controlled by authority).
Being chaotic good and serving the monarchy is tough. Breaking rules and ignoring orders annoys your superiors, but if you're really good at what you're doing you'll get away with it. It's hard to serve justice and follow the rules at the same time. -_-

Great work! The only thing is that you are quite more awesome than the dragon! XD OMG, you certainly have style! ^^ The uniform design is epic! I love it! Also, you've done great work on the face and hands. My only critique would be about the dragon. IMO, she needs much larger wings and the tail would need to be big enough to balance the rest of the body.
now, what is the Kraken doing there? XD Save the ship!

Well, what can I say. Most of former skalds have a lot of class and style.
*sigh*It's always about dragon. She's still growing up and that's why she still isn't well proportioned...but wait, does that mean I'll fall in the freezing water? Oh no, it's like synchro swimming team all over again.
I know nothing about dragons and now I have to take care of one of them T-T
And it's the first time for me to draw a sea...
Leave the poor Kraken alone...he's only saying 'hello'

Good to know that...it gives you at least a little (but still) a chance to escape from mermaids~
And for me as almost none of my friends know how to swim, it makes me happy that there's someone who shares my love for it. I've been swimming since I was 6 months old and actively training for almost 7 years before I had to stop

We also have sea. Not to mention that Poland have one of the highest number of lakes in the world(over 8,000 lakes and each have more than 1 hectare)..and also lot of rivers~ XD

Maybe in winter, but our summers are usually very hot and nice. ^o^
Of course not every part of Poland has the same climate - on the east and south we have continental climate, but the north and west have an oceanic one (and there's a little warmer), but the difference between them is really big...So it really annoys me if someone (it's not about you now) thinks we're some little freezing country on the north with polar bears on the streets, which is just stupid~ -_-

Oh that sounds quite tempting! But on the other side I've heard from my half-polish friends here (greek/polish) that I should see Poland in winter, it's quite a fairytale sight with snow all around!
PS: XD It is quite stupid indeed! lol The same happens in almost all Europe, even in Greece. (but here they believe the opposite stupid thing, that we have only sunny sea and islands XD )

And they're absolutely right. Winter here is really charming. You have mountains beautifully covered in snow (with highlanders' cottages on them...manly highlanders), deep forests with its creatures (sleeping peaceful, waiting for the first rays of a warm spring sun) and by the sea you can actually see the swans (and seagulls) strolling by the frozen waves and nagging people for food (but the wind from the sea is really strong and cold so you cannot afford a longer walk by the seashore if you don't want to catch cold)...but I won't mention the cities because everywhere is the same (and I'm sick of them).
PS. Are the surprised by the weather or the dominance of mountains and hills in the landscape?

PS: It depends on the season for the weather, but I mostly meant about the mountains in the main land (that can offer even a frozen snowy landscape on the winter). In fact the landscape in Greece has a massive amount of variety.

Well, since you asked for it: You might want to try to work more on focus things. I mean, you can let things close to horizon to fade in order to give much more depth to the pic. Also maybe a focus point would show your pic much better (not always but in many cases it helps)
