Description
I decided to make a turn-around model sheet of my new WoW character, Tinkerlake.He is a punkish, urban guy with a passion for artistic expressions and opportunities. Not a mystery he has been lured into the Wonderspark Carnival, where he will be hosting games and tend stands during festivals!
It was quite a challenge to work with the Goblin proportions, but I have a gut feeling I can also get plenty of fun in the future from this!
My process was more advanced than necessary: I started out in Photoshop, then got so frustrated by realising something was just too off. Then I exported the poses in JPEG files, found a grid and established it all in TVPaint to animate it. Then after I felt the proportions felt more consistent I exported it from TVPaint into Photoshop, to do a better lineart.
Now here's the final result of the lineart. I felt it was important to have an unpainted version as reference for future art and animations. I will also have a painted version however, as a reference for his base-colors to refer to! It is just around the corner
