Even when I was 18, watching Sleepy Hollow for the first time (I was only 6 when the movie came out in theaters, so I couldn't see it then.), I always figured at maximum, Katrina was 17/18 and Ichabod 25, much like the age gap between Shiloh Wallace and Graverobber in Repo! Β As long as it's not more than a ten year age difference, I'm totally fine with couples who have an "older-younger" vibe.

I consider agruing over his age pointless, since he's an "eternal youth" aka "bishonen" who could easily boast 40+ years while looking like late teens / early twenties, which is further emphasised by his outwardly immature personality. Not that it matters, as long as they have anything to share.
Tim Burnon clearly took some inspiration from anime style, so it's not surprising to see this kind of character in his works. I believe the most obnoxious example is Julius Belmont from Castlevania series. Yeah, a 55-years old BEARDED bishonen. Ayami Kojima managed to pull off something as self-contradicting as this.

I haven't seen Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow yet (I'm only familiar with the Disney version). but it looks really cool. Nice art here!
