Why people hates this film ? Is pretty funny, had a great message and funny characters.
They talking about the "Mean Spirit" in the movie....
Mean Spirit ? But the Chicken Little movie 's intention is precisely to make a social
criticism about the cruelty and ignorance of the people, the characters
who live in that city are detestable purpose, the protagonist is
bullying victim for a small thing , just to portray how cold our society
can be. It is a film that talks about bullying , social exclusion, and
parental neglect , society was not to be "nice " and " friendly " as it
is a critical satire of the REAL WORLD . I 've never seen anyone saying that he hates Dumbo, because of the bullying he suffers in the movie. Or saying that he hates The Hunchback of Notre Damme by "mean spirit" who humiliate him at the festival of fools , because they understand that this is part of the film. Why criticize it when it happens to Chicken Little ?

Yeah, WHY just criticizing the movie that has great message while "praising" over Disney newbies like "Frozen" or "Brave"?Β Β
I know how you feel - I really hate how "Disney fans" called the movie "mean-spirited," too. Β First "BatB fans" bashed the Beast's human form while dissing the film's moral... now this?Β Seriously, didn't they look back to see how Vanellope from "Wreck-It-Ralph" was sadly being bullied bt the racers, while "Sugar Rush" isn't really that sweet? They are really missing the point. Β
The movie showed how the main character tries to move on, while he was being a victim of being bullied just because of his personal mistakes. In fact, "Wreck-It-Ralph" seem to got this influence from the film (along with Lilo and Stitch) because it really shows how Vanellope represent as a misfit with autism, while being hated and bullied by the Sugar Rush citizens. In fact, it dedicate one of the great Disney Oldies, Joe Grant, who was a visual development artist and inspired later animators, like Mark Dindal and Mike Gabriel.Β
In truth, I would like to see more future Disney films to show how the main characters, like CL and Lilo, who have awesome personality but sadly being bullied by the society (unlike Emo-Elsa), or those who represent bright children with disabilities (like Vanellope) for supporting autism. Β Β
They are special-need kids who are sadly victims of bullying today, but they were neglected by society.Β
This is probably why I stay away from fans' reviews recently. Why? Because they always treat their opinions as "bias" while using their "claims" to against it. Not to mention being hypocritical. In other words... don't even get me started on it.Β

I feel like Monsters University is way more mean spirited then Chicken Little. At least they didn't dumped paint on Little and his friends.Β

I actually found Monsters University very decent. It's not perfect, but better sequel than Ralph-Breaks-The-Internet.Β
