This is probably the best bit of fanart I've ever done! (although I'm still not too happy with the photoshop product)It is a Hermione/Snape peice based on the bit at the end of ch. 42 of the greatest fanfiction I've ever read by one miss Caeria ' , 'Pet Project '!
I'm not one for fanfictions, or really reading in general, but this story is so well written and thought out that it goes well above the dribble often associated with the genre! I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next chapter!
Just hope this does the story justice.
Also While Snape has always been my favorite character from the HP series I was never one for Snape/? pairings, but the story is so interesting that it was not only able to keep my attention, it made me welcome the Snape/Hermione pairing.
And a special thanks to for sharing the story with us!

Chills. Wow, this is excellent! You really captured the fear, mixed with aof longing in Sevverus' eyes and the hope and caring with a tough of nervous energy in Hermione's eyes. This really is amazing! My only critique would be that Snape's mouth is a little too lax, but other than that, like I said before, EXCELLENT!

Their eyes are AMAZING!
But their mouths are giving me trouble. something is off and I can't put my finger on it exactly.

And I know what you mean about the mouths. I struggled with that image for a long time trying out different perspectives and when I drew the final one out I got that feeling too, but like you I couldn't put my finger on what to fix.

For some reason, when i read this part, i was kind of dissapointed they didn't have a real deep kiss... that and i'm used to the two of them ending up flopping around on the floor at a moments notice from reading other fanfic's, but the drawing is awesome.
The pre-kiss intensity captured, anticipation mounted, and perpetually engraved on the internet. Nice Job!

I felt that way too at first, but I ended up loving the fact that it was a light kiss (and that it took 43 chapters to get to that little light kiss). Mainly because it made their romantic conflict feel a little more realistic.
Although there were times when I yelled at my screen 'WHY DON"T THEY KISS ALREADY!?'

I too am in love with the tippytoes. The height thing, for me, is a likeable aspect of them. There's so much content to the picture that I stared at it for a good long while. x3

I love the height difference between them as well. I think it makes their relationship in my head all that much more cute. (if 'cute' is a word that could ever be associated with Snape.)

There are just so many good bits in there - the moment before she brushes his lips with hers and the Slytherin crest in the corner (love the effect on the snake where it looks embossed on the shield rather than flat - if that makes any sense). Tip-toes! I love tip-toes.
You guys are creating so many wonderful illustrations. I've got to get cracking and finish out the next chapter.

Oh, this is perfect! It has all the key parts to it. They lock eyes, she stretches up on her toes, and that unbelievable moment "just" before they touch lips.

I'll have to check, but I trust Caeria didn't have Hermione say "anyways" with an "s", which is not only ungrammatical but an Americanism as well. We'll just pretend that "s" is an extra curlique at the end of the word, okay?
Otherwise I love the drawing, especially the eyes: Hermione gently requesting, Severus frozen and unbelieving but unable to say no. That boy needs to get laid in the worst way!
