Once upon a time, in an untold world brimming with macabre whimsy, there lived an honest, hardworking skeleton named Huesito and a fun-loving, mischievous scarecrow known among family and familiars as Muerte.

The two peculiar ghouls were the truest of friends, mostly priding themselves in their prized pumpkin patch. This year, the two together grew a massive jack-o'-lantern in wistful hopes of winning the annual harvest competition.

But, one does not always tread upon a simple, straight road...
