In all honesty, I didn't have any green markers. But I did have blue ones...

I wonder... Is he gonna hurt Link, or take out some monster in front of him...?

I got some professional cartooning paper at hobby lobby (or at least thats what it said) but im not sure if i just didnt wait long enough for the ink to dry or its too smooth. Ive heard that manga manuscript paper supposed to work well with markers though. hopping to get some for my Bday. I guess i just need to practice more. Good luck to you and youre artistic skill

I got some bristol this week and will be doing some experimenting with it soon. I guess it won't absorb so much of the ink and therefore it will spread a little smoother. I don't know, stay tuned.

Pretty interesting question, actually.
I really like this picture, it has the suspense along with the feel of Zelda. Your poses are solid and ready to move, and the effects are done with a awesome finish.
The shading is quite well done as well, was this done in marker?

Ahh, it's nice seeing so much media put into this, your efforts certainly show as well.
Makes me want to do some chalk art again.

I did something in chalk in the tenth grade. Very messy, but I'd love to be able to use it effectively. Pastels too. I have a set of pastels that my grandfather gave me about eleven years ago and I've never used them. I wonder if they are still any good.

I say go for it, I myself really love to use chalk due to the fact you can spread it around and mix it, I find it a lot more enjoyable with that in mind.
