There is nothing wrong with being gay, or with this depiction of Spider Man. It wasn't drawn to poke fun at him and it was well-drawn; ergo, it is quite nice.
and FYI, there are only two definitions for the word "gay": 1. happy or joyful, and 2. homosexual. There is no third definition.
So of course it is literally gay. In both senses.

It was not a mockery of Spider Man. It was only a drawing done. Perhaps it was a fantasy of the artist's; perhaps it comes from an idea he had, a simple question of "What if?"
It doesn't hurt to change things, and it doesn't hurt to question them.
