Through The Trees, Mile 72 Glenn Highway, Alaska

Someone had a very bad day.

This is a photo of '41 Ford Coupe I took in April of '03. To my best guess it must have crashed in the 40's or 50's (judging by the trees that have grown over the area where it rolled down the hill). It's about 400 feet from the highway above, down the side of the hill, where it must have rolled to. Not too many people know of this car, which has saved it from major vandalism over the years. It's been here ever since I discovered it as a kid. It's changed very little through out my lifetime. It's about 35 miles from the nearest town of any size, pretty much the middle of nowhere. It probably happened in the dead of winter, with snow and ice everywhere, I wonder if the person lived? I'll never know, but I often think about it.

(I've been having troubles submitting my photos, so you might see this in a few other sections as I tried to upload it three different times in different sections thinking that mighta been the problem.)
