This was just an experiment, I have never done a skin mod before this, I just used eteled for the sake of practice so I didn't have to completely draw and animate a whole thing.

and if this skin needs to be taken down for any reason I'm fine with that.

I just figured I would share this in case anyone gets a kick out of it- didn't feel like using GameBanana at the moment, maybe another time.

How to use: Download is under the pic. Extract it. Back up the original DADDY_DEAREST png and xml first if you haven't already. Then just replace them with these ones.

This was a pretty fun learning experience, and now I know how to make sprite sheets and write xmls for future skins I make, or maybe even more complex mods? The idea of making a full week with custom songs and everything sounds really cool but it's super daunting to me.

Programs Used:

Paint Tool SAI 2: for editing (pasting each frame in its own layer and aligning them).
Photopea: to export every individual frame quicker (File > Export Layers).

Sprite Sheet Packer: (gamebanana.com/tuts/14283 ) to make the sprite sheet and to also get the x, y, width, and height values to put in the XML.
Wordpad: to write and alter the XML based on this tutorial. gamebanana.com/tuts/14136
Friday Night Funkin' FPS Plus (gamebanana.com/tuts/13894 ) to find out the frameX and frameY values. Also what the preview pic is taken in.
