Description Here is a picture of Optimus Prime that I drew around the last week of September at work. It took a few really horrible movies to previews to have him completed sketch wise. It took even longer for him to make the trip from one of my boxes of paperwork home to the scanner.

has wonderful space images to use on manipulations that I used for Optimus' space background. I thought it fit the drawing real well

It took me more time to draw the sketch with pencil prior to scanning into photoshop to color and detail. I am happy he turned out so noble

Now I have to draw a Rodi that is close to that! Op was quite the mess to figure out in photoshop, with all my erasing and ruler lines etc. He took FOREVER to draw and only 5 hours to color I was licking my monitor quite a bit after he was colored ...oh and my phone since he is on there too

Yeah but under comments, I read your first it was the first one! I sketched him at work previewing some crappy movies with the houselights up so I could see. Took some ref pics with my cell phone that I used Okay

The cleaning lights were on clear as day lol The only thing I looked for on the screen were reel changes and discoloration. Other than that I had ruler in hand making me some boxes that would turn into one sessy mech!

Pretty cool! Did you color it at work or at home? It almost looks like a marker effect for the coloring. I remember sketching at work when I worked retail... can't ever find the time for it at work now.

I sketched while previewing some pretty crappy movies, just turned on the cleaning lights so I could see and getting use to using small photo refs on my phone. The coloring was on photoshop (at home) of course, I have this using lighter and darker shade addiction I can't kick I have a picture of Jazz that I can not seem to find and he should be in one of my four paperwork boxes. The desk has all HR crap in it, so he can't be in there...hmmmm where did he go!
