Description
I’m lost again
Following the tracks of a train.
I know I’m somewhere near to there.
The problem is I don’t quite know where.
Stumbling between the iron creepers,
Over shale and railway sleepers.
The tracks just seem to go on
And I know I have been following them far to long.
Truth be known I don’t want to stop
I like the track I like being lost.
I wouldn’t much care if the train ran me down
I’d be dead and never wear a frown
But at least out here I’d be free
In the wild with the tracks, birds and the trees.
