I'm currently working on redesigns for these three! Check it out here:

Guys look at my precious little fantasy babies I'm so in love with them you don't even understand.
First, we have Halden (22), a really cool, really chill knight who serves under the princess. He's part human and part elf, but has no magical abilities, like the elves in my little world all do. He doesn't know (yet) but the King is considering betrothal between Halden and the princess, who he has served under for years. He began training to become a knight at 16, when his elven mother passed away, and has risen up in the ranks very quickly, and although he is very proud of his success, he doesn't spend as much time outside the castle walls as he used to and very much misses his two friends. When he is allowed to take a leave though, you can see him running around the village, usually following Maera on some mischievous misadventure, with Aerieth following reluctantly behind... And that's probably his favorite thing to do too.

Next to him is Maera (20), a peasant girl from the village, who grew up in the orphanage. She is very outgoing, and although she is all grown up, stops by the orphanage all the time to visit the children. She befriended Halden when they were little, and the whole village always jokes about how they're sure to get married one of these days... Maera acts as a messenger and delivery girl in the village, and runs errands for the townsfolk. She also assists with Aerieth and Aerieth's grandmother's healing and potion work, going with Aerieth out to housecalls and delivering potions. When she isn't running around delivering packages and messages though, she's usually seen running around (trying to) help people, but causing chaos, even though she means well. And of course her two partners in crime are a tall and lanky knight and a shy green haired elf.

And last but absolutely not least is Aerieth (19), the cutest little elf girl in the whole wide world. She would disagree but I don't care I love her the most. She is shy and rather quiet around most everyone besides Halden and Maera, and her grandmother of course, who raised her and is teaching Aerieth everything she knows about elven healing magic and potion making. Aerieth was constantly bullied for being an elf, something that is not common in the local area, but one day Maera befriended her and defended poor little Aerieth from all of the mocking. Maera is Aerieth's best best friend now, and is like Maera's shadow when they're together. They work very well together, with Maera being outgoing and friendly but a bit of an airhead, and Aerieth being more calm and level headed.

Some random fun facts about these cuties:
-Halden has a booming laugh that everyone in the village knows of fondly.
-Aerieth does not think she is as talented as she actually is. Her healing magic is incredibly strong for such a young elf.
-Maera knows every child at the orphanage by name and spends quality time with all of them.
-Maera grew out of the orphanage and has lived on her own ever since.
-Aerieth prides herself in her long, healthy hair. But she always ties it up to keep it clean and keep it out of whatever she may be brewing.
-Aerieth used to have a secret crush on Halden when they were all younger, mainly because he was half elf, but she soon realized he was a bit too much for her shy little self to handle... and she was sure that Maera and Halden have always had feelings for one another
-And she's completely right, but neither will admit it out loud; Halden "belongs to the sword" and hasn't time for romance, and Maera "only sees Halden as a best, best friend" and would NEVER let something come between that.
-Halden secretly complains to Maera and Aerieth about the annoying things the princess does whilst he guards her and keeps watch and the two girls absolutely love hearing the gossip.
-Halden will tag along with Maera and Aerieth to Aerieth's grandmother's potion shop just to listen to the grandmother's stories and to watch their elven magic. He loves his elvish heritage and learns more about it any time he can.
-Maera is a talented dancer, and is desperately trying to teach Halden to waltz so she has a reason to hold his hands dancing partner.

I will keep going on about them so I'll stop with that.

I have a few more characters I want to create for their world, including the princess Halden serves, Aerieth's grandmother, and a local gruff barkeep dwarf who I have no idea what I want to do with yet... So keep your eyes open! I've still got plenty of pony art too, but I absolutely adore these guys, so expect lots of pictures of them too!!
