Description
Journal made out of Coca Cola cans (from my trip to China that was during the Beijing Olympics), cardboard, copper wire, and pull tabs. Pages include notebook paper, colorful recycled papers, copy paper, a brown paper bag, graph paper, construction paper, marbled construction paper, sheet music, staff paper, Chinese rice paper, newspaper, and other random printed sheets recovered from recycle bins, with edges straight, deckled, torn, or cut with fancy scissors. :3

Wear gloves if you’ll be working with soda cans—the edges are sharp.
School recycling bins are a great place to find cool papers!

I love this idea with the coke cans and the pull tabs are a really nice touch, but what did you use to cut the cans? I've never worked with aluminum before, but I'd love to try it.

I loooove the mix of different papers here! All these different colours and textures and edges... It all fits wonderfully with the equally awesome cover. Using pull tabs for the binding is a genious idea!
