I bring you a new fever dream of a creature.

Meet a member of the Groundmaw family. This is the desert species, for each element and biome there is a Groundmaw variant.

The fleshy tail resembles a massive scrap of fresh meat making it irresistible for scavengers to pass up. The Groundmaws behavior is similar to an anglerfish. It's stomach is capible of streching to acomidate any size of prey.

This one in particular has the intelligence of a crow, The Desert Groundmaw is not known to be geniuses, but they make for that with basic tactics and three stepped thinking. The intelligence of the Groundmaws depends on the individual and the element or biome their from.

( This freak kinda reminds my of Shin Godzilla in a way, huh, just noticed that. )
