Description Second helping of the sunset
Breezy push ebbing on my cheek
Staring, singing back the song
To drooping eyelid of the sky
Closing on the vivid orange eye
Of or not of God
A fact in simple irrelevence
Made thus by the cricket violins
Vibrating the face of that aural ocean
As pebble is to pond

Not thinking and not turning
Perusing a recalled library of nothing
A state of earned innebreation
Sifter-ed in a vivid blue-pink glass of cloud
Splashed across the sky
Like blind paint across canvas
Stretching, reaching
The cotton fields of summer skies
Being plucked to be regrown
Once more, before bed

I really like this. Such a great picture to paint. Did you edit it? I must not have been watching you yet because it's an older one.

Well, I replaced the preview image with the new one I'm going to start using. I didn't change the poem at all, though.

Superb-- and I can't say much more.

"Cricket violins" is just...delightful.

Ahh.... that provoked a pleasant sigh.

"Closing on the vivid orange eye
Of or not of God"

is especially nice.

And the second stanza! I can't think of a way to be more eloquent about nothing without remaining in silence.
