The bottom of the glass, don't you think that it should be more round? You can see the.. uhmmm Damn, i am bad with the words! D:

Yeah I can definitely see the choppiness at the bottom. I was a little annoyed with it but not enough to fix it hhaa!

1- Select the curve
2- Channel box -> OUTPUTS -> Revolve -> Sections (play with the number until you are satisfied)

Better than me, I think the glass is great and the lighting is awesome! The liquid does look a lot more like blood than wine. It would be good for a vampire image. But like I said, better than me - keep going!

I haven't yet no, mainly Poser and Daz. I have worked with water though, never a colored drink. I don't think I'm ready for that ha ha! I am trying to learn 3DS Max and it's going to take awhile.

the light and glass look good but i think the liquid needs to be more transparent . i've never been able to make a good liquid myself so you're doing better than me already !

thanks, and yeah, I had a bit of trouble with the liquid. :U I think theres a way to make actual "liquids" but I dont know how!

i know there is a popular plugin that lets you make realistic liquid as if it's splashing but i've never tried it . i think the only trick to making still liquid must be the material settings . i bet there is a tutorial somewhere .. *becomes distracted*
