I know it would be cliche, but I kind of hope that Team RWBY ends up becoming the next generation of Maidens. I doubt it, though. Ruby's silver eyes already tip the scales enough as it is without their full potential being unleashed.

I personally think that is a good idea. However, that would mean Raven (Yangs mom) would have to die because (SPOILER!!!!)
she is the spring maiden, and the maidens power goes to the last female they think before death (I think, correct me if I am wrong).

I think that Ruby would be the Fall Maiden. It would be consistent with the theme of scattering that is a part of Ruby. It would also make more sense due to the Relic that corresponds to characteristics of each woman:
Winter/Creation: Weiss creates with her powers. Her powers are based in physical constructs that she uses to take on her opponents. She favors the powers of her glyphs and ice dust, making creative uses of them, building and generating new things.
Spring/Knowledge: Blake is an intellectual, often using her superior tactics to better gain an advantage against stronger opponents like Adam. Despite the darkness of her past, she has risen above, growing and flourishing within the light.
Summer/Destruction: Yang is all about raw power, but also has grown to reign it in, learning to use her explosive power and weapons to destroy with purpose only. Without such growth she would continue to destroy until she herself became destruction itself and died in her own flames.
Fall/Choice: Ruby has always been about choice. As the leader of her friends, it has always been down to her. Without her decisiveness, whether on the battlefield or just making the choice not to draw strength from sorrow, Ruby is embodiment of self-determination. And just as choice is the most powerful of the four Relics, Ruby is the most powerful of the four members of team RWBY.

Yang: Metalix...Ruby, you've destroyed Him after Kai made his sacrifice to save this world, am I, right sis?
Ruby: Yes Yang, But I'm not sure how's he alive again. Anyway, Kai needs our help to defeat him for one last time.
Weiss: Don't you remember? if any seasonal maiden magic comes to eradiate the surrounding area, it'll make him stronger.
Blake: Let us see the situation is in its current form.
As team Rwby gazed upon the crystal ball, they can see the Battle of fates between Kai and Metalix in Dimensional Hell.

Kai( my OC ): AAARRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! ....You made yourself lucky, only Salem had to push me this far into Power of Cinder 3, now it's my turn to scrap you for good.
Metalix: Heh, I like to see you Try. the only way to defeat me is silver eyes, and now, Ruby isn't at presence here. so that means I'm immortal!
Kai: Immortal or not, you just a pile of Bolts waiting to be bust ( What's taking you so long guys? Hurry up and grant me some strength to last a while longer. Metalix is much stronger than before, I need all the help I need ).
Metalix: smart talk are we? well, it doesn't hep you to cry out help to your pitiful goddesses. AAAAAARRRRGH! * charges for an attack *
Kai: So were beginning? then I must join in the fun, AAAAAAARGH!
The two Clash each other, making a huge shock wave that the entire Galaxy can feel. Metalix had the upper hand and attack Kai from the behind, unfortunately, it was deflected by Kais' Sheild. That didn't stop Metalixs spar, though, he continued to punch and kick through the shield till it finally broke. Kai did a ninja backflip to escape from harm, thanks to his Darkwood Grain ring. then he proceeded to use the Great Chaos Fireball pyromancy art to damage Metalix. Though he did hit him directly on him, it didn't seem to faze him at all.
Metalix: think that old trick of your could work?
Kai: Don't even get me started, that was just a practice shot.
He charges towards Metalix with his silver sword ( that is infused with silver eye aura ) and hopes to slice and dice. and did landed on him, but it didn't even make a dent. Kai Continued to hack and slash, but ended when metalix Gut punched him to his knees and Kick him across the field. All of his energy was empty, so he powered down to his base form.
Kai: *wheezing and coughing out blood* How...How did he get so strong...Well, there's only one thing left to do...But...it is risky, though...but it's a chance that I have to take...

Yang: What's Kai thinking, Is he going to use Power Within?
Weiss: Yes, A pyromancy art which allows the user to Boost his/her power by double to 20x of his/her stats, but it drains one's life along with it.
Blake: * notices Ruby's Worried Expression * Ruby, your not thinking of joining the battle, are you?
Ruby:...Yes, I can't just let Kai die again. He's a really Great Friend...even...more then that. If he sacrificed his life to protect use, then I'll do the same.
Yang: Ruby, you know you can't do that if you die. then there's nothing he or we can do to save this world.
Ruby: I know, nut that's a chance that I have to take *Touch The Ball to Transport herself to Help Kai*
*Back with Kai vs. Metalix*
Kai: POWER WITHIN! * a huge amount of Ki and Fire erupted from his body * Let's go Metalix!
Metalix: Just Give up while you're still alive. there no point of fighting any-* then gets blasted with Ruby's Silver eye wave *
Kai: Huh? RUBY?!
Ruby: Hey Kai!
Kai: What on earth are you doing here? you know the consequences when you die as the Spring Maiden, Don't you?
Ruby: But.I just...
Kai: Doesn't matter now, Metalix needs to be scraped ounce again and for good this time around.
Metalix: Does it really matter? I'm a God in this realm, where no weaknesses are even present. so, it'll be you two, who are the one's to be scraped.
Ruby: Even so, You can still die. Ready the Fusion Rings Kai
Kai: Of Course Rubes * pulls out Fusion Rings*
Metalix: this must be a Joke, you can't actually beat me when you two are in one. What a real waste of time.
Kai and Ruby: FUSION ACTIVATE!
The fusion Rings reacted and Ruby and Kai started to transform into one being, but more like...God.

Metalix: Heh * starts to charge for a Tri Nuke Attack *
Metalix fired the beam directly at Rai, But it had no effect whatsoever. Then Rai proceeded to Teleport behind Metalix at Light Speed and Started to Slash from behind. the sword Had a clean cut through his Metal armor.
Metalix: GAH!, but that metal wasn't supposed t be cutting in pieces, it was supposed to be the ultimate armor...
Rai: Now it's time to finish you! Silver Great Fireball!
Rai threw the Fireball at Metalix and it was enough to melt him away, but if it weren't for his final words
Metalix: Second * Gasps and wheezes *...GEAR! AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHH!
with that Metalix has been defeated and Rai has returned to Kai and Ruby, then both of them teleported back to the Maiden shrine with the world at peace for last forever.
