Description 1. Comic book femme fatales - such as Vampirella, Lady Death & Purgatori
2. Akira - Drugs, sexual language, and violence. This movie was my scarface and probably has single-handedly influenced everything i've ever done.
3. Heavy Metal - both the magazine and the movie were a heavy influence on me, especially during my early teen years. Chain-mail big breasted ladies swinging double axes? Yes please.
4. Conan - kinda the ultimate badass
5. Ocarina of Time - This game BLEW MY MIND. I spent several hours playing it while my stoner brothers cheered me on. Good times.
6. FLCL - Awesome soundtrack, great character designs [tv robot!!]
7. Old horror movies. I can see how their aesthetic influenced other artists such as Rob Zombie.
8. X-MEN - one of the first comics i ever read. I am also a big fan of the 90s cartoon show, i have every season. Plus these are my two favorite characters.
9. Jamie Hewlett - I was completely obsessed with Tank Girl and now it only makes sense that he's working with one of the most creative superbands in history
10. NOFX - This specific album is one of my favorites, but in general i'm a big NOFX fan. Also, don't call me white.
11. Thundarr The Barbarian - What can i say, i'm a sucker for 80s cartoons. This one is specifically great because it features a gothic-looking space princess, a bigfoot super alien and pays tribute to Conan.
12. Sifl and Olly - at the time, the closest thing airing to adult swim. Me and my friends would spend many-a-late-nights listening to these two. The show was also a jumping point for Liam Lynch.
13. Creepy Magazine - Some of the great masters have worked on this zine, one in particular being Frank Frazetta, who i was a huge fan of. This magazine was dripping with pulp horror and stunning artwork
14. Halloween - being an ex-goth kid i tend to like all things spooky; haunted houses, witches, paranormal. LOVES IT
15. The Herculoids - Hanna-Barbera produced lots of chartoons i loved, including Johnny Quest. It was hard to choose which one i wanted up, but herculoids won since i figured it was more obscure. Plus it was on family guy once, i shat bri/x/
16. Metalocalypse - Whhho, lives in a viking ship, under the dark!?
17. Graffiti Women - great book. 'Nough said.
17. I messed up. Oops. But god damnit swan, do i love your blond hair. You're like the tough leif garrett
18. FFVIII - SORRY BOYS, FF7 was not my favorite. Although i did enjoy it, 8 & 9 were in my eyes, extremely awesome. FFVIII's gf system was also one of the most badass things i ever experienced gamewise @ the time.
18. damn it you know i really loose track of whats where.
Frankenhole - Dino Stamatopoulos did a great job with Moral Orel, but frankenhole has me won with the amazing sets and spooky papercraft.
19. Daft Punk - Saw them twice, need i say more? YES. IT WAS LIKE SEEING TRON LIVE. BUT WITH ROBOTS.
20. Clockwork - who doesn't?
21. Might Boosh - creative and musical genius. Costumes are amazing.

fuck i forgot The Sarah Silverman Program. Dammnit.
