They are all empty words. Words i'm much to familiar with. I hear them every day, without fail from the same person. Eating away at me ever so slowly.
"I'm not gonna hit you again"
"I'll start taking the medicine"
"I'll never go over to her house again"
He and I both know they are all lies. As much as I hate hearing those words, I find them important. Because I know that one day in the near future.. One of us won't be here to tell
one another these empty words. Empty words that have undeniable control over my hopes and my
fears, because when these words fall from our mouths we hold them close to our hearts.
