Well I'm positive the effects will be good. I mean, Universal is doing it, and they're pretty good...plus, it's a 50 million dollar project, so it has to have good effects, considering almost everything will be cgi.

Well he will be both,cuz in most movies that involve creatures,there is always an animatronic puppet/cast made first,so that they can do the movements,expressions,and actions. Then ofcourse more detailed effects will be added with CGI. But who knows,a very detailed puppet could look just as great,with how skilled the experts have gotten over the years.
