The contest prize for !

I referenced sunflowers, and I found out that no two look exactly the same! The petals aren't all perfect like they're usually depicted, either. They're mismatched and sometimes there's an incomplete back row of petals! So I tried very hard to make each one a bit different and not to make the petals align perfectly.

I also tried a new method of skin coloring. I will be using it from now on, though it's more complex. I feel like it helps me add something of what I've been missing from my coloring.

I spent way too much time on this. And in the end, the background was ruined by my foolishness. But I hope you can love this picture, anyway. ;.;
