this was a handleheld shot which pushed the limits (well, exceeded the limits) of my humble camera. Nonetheless, some bright lighting and decent crop made for an OK photoRelated content

This is a very nice photo, the blank background shows a height to your find, which is awesome. The photo has character in the dead tree and with the way the two birds look different so close.
There are a few things I noticed though, the photo itself seems a bit fuzzy (not necessarily out of focus, but the noise in the background a bit maybe?), and just that lack-luster appearance. I don't know if you edit your photos, but maybe if you moved the contrast up a little bit, it could bring a little more color into it.
Personally, I don't use photoshop or anything on my photos, it opens in Windows Media Photo Viewer, and there's a 'fix photo' button option, I use this and if needed just move the color back to the colors I saw.
That aside, this is a really nice photo, I like the crop you used and it's quite a catch with the background the way it is, it doesn't distract you from the center of the object. Nice shot.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="
